SRM consulting has completed one of our client’s Strategic plan development projects which were started in Sep, 2019. Last week, group of representatives from Bileg Design LLC, EBRD’s Small Business Support Program was held project review meeting.
Brief Project Overview
Enterprise situation at the beginning of the project:
Despite growing sales revenue, the company's director wasn't sure what the market's capacity, how to guide the company's future, and what strategies he apply. He had many questions and concerns about which market and segmentation that he competes, who are his direct and indirect competitors, how things will happen in next few years. He also has facing some difficulties to managing his employees and so on.
Key project objectives set at the beginning of the project:
In the beginning of the project consultant set up following 2 main goals with business owner.
To recognize following objectives for develop business strategy:
- Current product market capacity, who is main customer
- Current customer behavior and their common interest
- Who is leading in the market, market share and competitors
- What is effective marketing strategy in the market
- Are there any demand on costume made safety boot (as specified by the company owner)
- How mature idea to manufacture kids shoe is? (as specified by the company owner)
To understand the organization and develop effective HR policy:
- To do job analysis, find out relations between jobs and tasks
- Define HR policy and develop supporting documents
Actions taken during the project implementation:
- Interviewed with company owner and all employees find out their thoughts about company, their products and services, future perspective and their private purpose;
- Identified main consumers in the market and market capacity;
- Products and services benchmarked, defined direct and indirect competitors;
- Contacted survey on costumers and other stakeholders to find out what is their expectations and needs; what are their perspectives about the company;
